Izvorul Muntelui Lake (Bicaz)

“The sea among the mountains”

The largest reservoir in Romania's mountains: about 32.6 km² stretching over 35 kilometres, with wide views and Ceahlău as a constant backdrop. The Bicaz Dam is an impressive 127 metres high, and the road across its crest offers photogenic hairpin bends on the DN15.

Where mountains, water and stories meet. You come for the scenery and stay for the peace.
