About the cable car
Opened in 2008, Telegondola Piatra Neamț is one of the city's most important tourism investments. Built by the Austrian company Doppelmayr, it links the city centre with the Cozla plateau and gives a full panorama of Piatra Neamț, Lake Bâtca Doamnei and the mountains around it. More than a million passengers have ridden it so far, which speaks for the value and durability of the project.
